Job Responsibilities

Specializes in managing costs, contracts, and measurements for mechanical, piping, and HVAC installations within construction projects.

They prepare tenders, bills of quantities (BQ), and evaluate progress payments, ensuring projects stay within budget.

Tracking variations, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and managing subcontractor claims.

• Cost Estimation: Preparing accurate cost estimates, budgets, and Bills of Quantities (BQ) specifically for mechanical systems (e.g., HVAC, piping, fire protection).
• Tendering & Contracting: Assisting in the tender process, evaluating bids, and preparing contract documents.
• Project Monitoring: Monitoring project expenditures, tracking variations (variation orders), and providing cost reports.
• Valuation: Reviewing and certifying progress claims, sub-contractor invoices, and final accounts.
• Site Coordination: Attending site meetings to provide cost-related advice for installations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in the building/data centre/hospitality industry is an added advantage.
• Perform Quantity Surveyor in mechanical field is preferred. 
• Assists in project costs and contractual agreements
