Job Summary

We are seeking a Marine Electrical Technician to provide technical support and maintenance for marine equipment and systems across Singapore, Malaysia, and ASEAN.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems and components onboard marine vessels to ensure operational reliability
• Repair electrical systems and components to maintain vessel functionality
• Handle electrical panel wiring and machine cable routing for safe and efficient installations
• Perform workshop-based testing and calibration of marine equipment to verify performance standards
• Coordinate and supervise external vendors or contractors to ensure quality and timely completion of tasks
• Assist ship crew and Superintendent in identifying and ordering correct spare parts to minimize downtime
• Compile and submit detailed service reports upon task completion for accurate documentation
• Maintain, service, and troubleshoot marine engines and generator sets to ensure optimal operation
• Complete assigned tasks within given timelines to meet project schedules
• Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and customers during on-site installation jobs to facilitate smooth operations
• Perform on-site installation and commissioning of marine electrical systems to ensure proper setup
• Carry out other related service jobs as assigned to support team objectives

Required competencies and certifications

• ITE/Diploma in relevant field (marine electrical or mechanical) to support technical duties
• Ability to work extended hours, including short notice, overtime, nights, weekends, and public holidays, to meet project deadlines

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Candidates with/without experience may apply. Experience in mechanical troubleshooting, overhauls, repair, and inspection for marine-related products and machines

• Positive and proactive attitude with a strong willingness to learn
• Self-motivated, hardworking, responsible, and able to work independently or collaboratively
• Fresh graduates and candidates without prior relevant experience are welcome to apply
