Description

  • Job Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and bake a variety of bread, and other baked goods according to recipes and quality standards.
    • Shaping, do icing, toppings, fillings for bread,
    • Monitor baking processes to ensure optimal texture, colour, and taste of the baked goods.
    • Kneading, cutting, shaping of the doughs.
    • Basic cake decoration including preparation of icing and toppings.
    • Washing and cleaning of utensils/ equipment (e.g., ovens).
    • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the baking area.
    • Collaborate with other bakers/ kitchen staffs to coordinate baking schedules and ensure timely production.
    • Any other ad-hoc duties a
    •  when required.
    • Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

    Job Requirements:

    • Minimum 1-2 years of baking experience in bakery profession.
    • Knowledge of bread-making techniques and principles, including mixing, shaping, proofing, and baking.
    • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to produce the baked items consistently.
    • Ability to work efficiently in a hot and humid, and fast-paced environment.
    • Able to work as early as 7am, during weekends, public holidays and overtime hours when required.
    • Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
